The maiden edition of the prestigious  talent hunt, Southern Kaduna's Got Talent, which was tentatively scheduled to hold in June has been postponed indefinitely. This is due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has caused total lockdown in Nigeria and the world at large.

Notwithstanding, some stakeholders suggested that the event be held online. The management board of AFRICA YOUNG LEADERS (AYL), which is the main organizer of this prestigious event has discussed extensively with one of its partners, CHOCOLATE CITY, which is one of the biggest record labels in Africa.

Chocolate City, the record label that brought some of the biggest superstars in Africa to limelight, such as - M.I Abaga, Ice Prince, Jesse Jagz, Jeremiah Gyang, Loose Kaynon, Brymo, Dice Ailes, Victoria Kimani, Koker, Milli, Ckay and Blaqbonez - has taken a keen interest on the event.

After much deliberation between Africa Young Leaders and Chocolate City, the two parties have entered into an agreement on the event. As a result, it was agreed that the event be postponed to a latter date so as to give more room for adequate planning and proper arrangements.

Consequently, we are pleased to announce that Chocolate City is now the major supporter of this event. And we also wish to state that all the prizes that were earlier announced to be won are still intact. In addition, the winner would also receive a special prize from Chocolate City.

In line with this, we wish to announce that there shall be a new way of shortlisting artistes as the event would be done in a grand style. Meanwhile, as preparations and arrangements are going on, the board shall be screening artistes. And the shortlisted ones shall be invited to the main event.

However, the board is also aware that some artistes have registered already. While we are still deliberating on how best to go about it, the registered artistes have nothing to worry about. If at the end of the day we come up with the best decision, we shall inform them. And if it means returning their money back, it shall be refunded.

We also wish to render our appreciation to all the supporters of this event; Nenzit FM Radio,, Senior Man Records, Genesis Entertainment Dynasty, TRG Mix, DJ Tony Entertainment and BGee Grafix.

Subsequently, we shall keep you updated on our activities through our social media platforms as they unfold. So we humbly request you follow us on all our social media outlets.
